If you’re a high school senior looking for beautiful senior pictures that show your personality, style, and even your interests, I’d love to photograph you!
Senior year is such a big, emotional moment for both the student and the parents. It is full of excitement, change, and a little bit of that “how did we get here so fast?” feeling. I photograph high school seniors in Boston and Greater Boston with all of that in mind.
My senior portrait sessions are never rushed or overly posed. I want each senior to feel relaxed, confident, and genuinely themselves whether that means playful and bold, calm and thoughtful, or something in between. Some girls show up ready to strike a pose; others need a few minutes to warm up, and I meet them where they are.
I guide gently so you never feel awkward in front of the camera. But I also leave space for real expression and personality to come through. The best senior photos always come from moments where you are simply you, laughing, daydreaming, spinning in a dress, or sitting quietly in the sand.
I am drawn to clean, natural light, beautiful color, and a timeless style. These are images that will look just as good when you are showing them to your own kids someday.
Every senior portrait session is personalized, so you can dress up, dress down, wear something classic or something totally you. We can keep it simple in the studio, head into nature, or go all out with a destination senior photography session.
This is not just about getting a yearbook photo. It is about celebrating who you are right now, right before everything shifts.
Here’s what a typical senior portrait session in Boston looks like when you book with me:
Getting to Know You: Before the session, we’ll chat about what you love, your interests, and the kind of senior photos you want. Whether it’s casual and fun, classic and polished, or something totally unique, I’ll make sure to listen carefully to your requests.
Session Length: Most Boston senior photo sessions last between 60 to 90 minutes, which is enough time for multiple outfit changes and a variety of poses and locations, whether in my studio or outdoors around Boston and the surrounding areas.
Guidance & Comfort: If you’re nervous and shy in front of the camera, don’t worry! I’ll guide you through poses and help you feel comfortable and relaxed during the process. My goal is to make this senior photo experience memorable and fun, so you can be yourself.
Outfits & Props: Feel free to bring a few different outfits to showcase your different sides: casual, dressy, or sporty. Props like instruments, sports gear, pets, or anything meaningful are welcome too!
Locations: We’ll choose locations that reflect your personality from cityscapes and flower fields to beaches and cozy indoor spaces around Boston and New England.
After the Shoot: Within a week after your senior photography session, you’ll receive a gallery of beautifully edited images to review. From there, you can select your favorites for prints, digital downloads, or albums, whatever suits you best.
No matter your style or comfort level, I’m here to make sure your senior portraits are an experience you’ll love and photos you’ll cherish forever.
As a Boston senior portrait photographer, I specialize in creating custom senior photo sessions that reflect each senior’s one-of-a-kind energy. Many seniors from Sharon, Foxborough, Walpole, and all over Greater Boston come to me for a senior photo experience that’s fun, relaxed, and creative.
Seniors can be busy! A lot is going on between football games, college tours, prom, and plans with friends. I am available to photograph on weekdays or weekends and make every effort to accommodate your busy schedule.
But let's also talk about the seasons! I photograph seniors all year, but summer and fall are by far the most popular seasons and each has its own vibe!
To quickly go over the differences between booking your summer senior portraits in Boston vs. fall senior portraits in Massachusetts, here are some points to keep in mind:
Summer senior sessions are warm, relaxed, and so much fun. With longer days, soft golden light, and less on your schedule (no school, sports, or college apps just yet), it's a great time to slow down and enjoy the experience. Plus, it's the perfect season for beach senior photos with a soft breeze, and that dreamy coastal light that makes everything glow.
Fall senior portraits bring a completely different look and feel: cozy sweaters, rich colors, crisp air, and beautiful natural backdrops. They're ideal if you're drawn to the classic New England fall aesthetic. Just keep in mind that senior year gets busier quickly, and schedules fill up fast with school, sports, and college deadlines.
And regardless of the season, I’ll help you choose a date, location, and style that fits you whether that’s by the water, in the city, in the field of tall dried grass, or under a canopy of autumn leaves.
Before your senior photoshoot, I’ll send you all the important details you need to feel ready and confident. This includes tips on what to wear, how to prepare your hair and makeup, what to bring, and what to expect during your senior portrait session. My goal is to make sure you have a smooth, fun, and relaxed experience from start to finish.
Investing in your senior photos does require some preparation. Finding great outfits and getting your hair and makeup just right can make all the difference. Even with the perfect location and beautiful light, wrinkled clothes or messy hair can take away from all the effort you’ve put in. But don’t worry, we’ll talk about all of this ahead of time. I’ll guide you through every step, from wardrobe choices to hair and makeup, so you feel confident and camera-ready.
